Największa z wysp kanaryjskich o powierzchni 2034 km2. Wyspa która ma wszystko, piaszczyste plaże, góry, wulkany i lasy wawrzynowe. Wulkan i zarazem najwyższy szczyt Hiszpanii (3718m) znajdujący się na terenie Parku Narodowe Teide, ktory znajduje się ponad 2000 m npm wiec zazwyczaj jesteśmy ponad chmurami :)
Na sam wulkan można wjechać kolejka górską, lub wejść samemu- ale potrzeba na to uzyskać specjalne zezwolenie, warto postarać się o nie z miesięcznym wyprzedzeniem- co właśnie nam umknęło. Park Narodowy jest piękny- pole lawowe, formacje skalne i wiele ścieżek trekkingowych.
Wyspy Kanaryjskie są jednym z trzech najlepszych miejsc do obserwacji nieba, wraz z Chile i Hawajami, a obserwatorium astrofizyczne na Teneryfie jest największe na świecie. Raj dla mnie, kto uwielbia fotografować drogę mleczna :)
Tenerife
The largest of the Canary Islands with an area of 2034 km2. The island has everything, sandy beaches, mountains, volcanoes and laurel forests. The volcano and also the highest peak of Spain (3718m) located in the Teide National Park, which is located over 2000 m above sea level so we are usually above the clouds :)
You can get on the volcano by mountain lift or hike - but you need a special permit, it's worth trying to get them a month in advance - what we just missed. The National Park is beautiful - a lava field, rock formations and many trekking paths.
The Canary Islands are one of the three best spots in the world to observe the sky, along with Chile and Hawaii, and the Tenerife Observatory is the largest solar observatory in the world. Paradise for me who loves the taking photos of the milky way :)

Kolejnym miejscem, które koniecznie polecam odwiedzić to małe miasteczko Masca, do którego prowadzi wąska trasa z obłędnymi widokami pośród gór! Z tego miejsca można ruszyć również na trekking wąwozem do plaży Masca, niestety podczas naszego pobytu był on poddany renowacji.
Another place that I definitely recommend to visit is the small town Masca, to which leads a narrow route with fantastic views among the mountains! From this place you can also go trekking through the gorge to Masca beach, unfortunately during our stay it was renovated.
Północ bardzo różni pod względem klimatycznym od pozostałej części wyspy. Porośnięta lasami wawrzynowymi, mglista i chłodniejsza, ale nadal z niesamowitymi widokami.
The north is very different in terms of climate from the rest of the island. Overgrown with laurel forests, foggy and cooler, but still with amazing views.
Miejsca które również polecam wam odwiedzić to na pewno piękna stolica Santa Cruz, miasteczko Garachico z naturalnymi basenami El Caleton uformowane z lawy zastygniętej w ocenie, La Laguna, El Medano dla miłośników sportów wodnych oraz plaza Benijo.
Places that I also recommend to visit are definitely the beautiful capital of Santa Cruz, the town of Garachico with natural pools El Caleton formed from congealed lava, La Laguna, El Medano for water sports enthusiasts and the Benijo beach.
