Lanzarote było na mojej liście miejsc do odwiedzenia od dawna, ze względu na moje zamiłowanie do dużych przestrzeni, minimalizmu i wulkanów! Rok 2020 zaczęłam wiec od realizacji mojego marzenia...

Wyspa 1000 wulkanow...

każde wzniesienie jest wulkanem nawet jeśli nie wygląda. Największy wpływ na obecne uksztaltowanie terenu miała erupcja z 1730r. która trwała 6 lat, a ostatni wybuch wulkanu miał miejsce w 1824r. Wulkany te miały charakter linijny, oznacza to, że w ziemi otwiera się szczelina, z której wypływa lawa. Obecnie są one wygasłe. Oczywiście Lanzarote jest miejscem, gdzie spodziewa sie kolejnych wybuchow ale nikt nie moze przewidziec kiedy i w jakim miejscu, a teren wyspy jest monitorowany.

Lanzarote has been on my list of places to visit for a long time because of my passion for large spaces, minimalism and volcanoes!
So I started 2020 with the realization of my dream ...

The island of 1000 volcanoes ...

every hill is a volcano, even if it doesn't look like it. The current eruption from 1730 had the greatest impact on the current terrain. which lasted 6 years, and the last volcanic eruption took place in 1824. These volcanoes had a linear character, which means that a crack opens in the ground, from which lava flows. They are currently expired. Of course, Lanzarote is a place where more explosions are expected but no one can determine when and where. The island's area is monitored.

Park Narodowy Timanfaya

to główna atrakcja wyspy- który można zwiedzać tylko z zza szyby autobusu, co niestety doczytałam po zakupie biletów lotniczych 😅.
Dostęp do parku jest bardzo ograniczony i strzeżony przez strażników, a nielegalne wejście karane ...ale mam za to dla dobra wiadomość: istnieje możliwość trekkingu po terenie parku i to za darmo! A więc, taka wycieczka trwa 3h, można zarezerwować ja online, ale tylko z miesięcznym wyprzedzeniem, ilość osób jest ograniczona- grupy 8 osobowe na tej stronie: https://www.reservasparquesnacionales.es/.

Nasza grupa, jako jedyna mogla zwiedzać park tego dnia pieszo, bardzo polecam wybrać się na wycieczkę przed wizytą w PN Timanfaya. Przewodnik, dokładnie opisuje, jak wyglądał wybuch, opowiada o życiu mieszkańców, przed i po erupcji, faunie, florze i trudzie życia tutaj.

Timanfaya National Park

this is the main attraction of the island - which can be visited only by bus, what unfortunately I read after buying plane tickets 😅. Access to the park is very limited and guarded by guards, and illegal entry punished ... but for good news: there is the possibility of trekking around the park and it's free! So, this trip lasts 3 hours, you can book it online, but only one month in advance, the number of people is limited - groups of 8 people on this page: https://www.reservasparquesnacionales.es/. Our group, as the only one could explore the park that day on foot, I highly recommend going on a trip before visiting PN Timanfaya. The guide, describes exactly what the explosion looked like, tells about life on the island before and after the eruption, fauna and flora.

Timanfaya Visitors Centre

Kolejne miejsce, które polecam odwiedzić przed wjazdem do parku jest centrum turystyczne Timanfaya. Wejście do muzeum jest darmowe, w środku pełno informacji na temat wulkanów nie tylko tych z Lanzarote ale ogólnej wiedzy, a w jego podziemiu ogranizowana jest symulacja erupcji wulkanu.

Do samego Parku Timanfaya polecam pojechać po godz. 15.00 wtedy macie 20% zniżkę, oraz jest mniej turystów. Na miejscu znajduje się restauracja El diablo, kolejny wspaniały projekt Manrique. W tym miejscu na głębokości 3-5 km nadal wrze magma, co powoduje, że kilkanaście metrów pod ziemią mamy temperatury sięgające 600 stopni Celsjusza, a tuż pod powierzchnią nawet 100 – 200 stopni. Wokół restauracji odbywają się pokazy które to udowadniają, pieczone udka z kurczaka na ruszcie nad otworem w ziemi, samozapalające się gałązki oraz wlewania wody do otworów która powraca w postaci gejzeru.

Nastepnie przesiadacie się w autobus i zaczyna się 45 minutowa przejażdżka między wulkanami wraz z historią wybuchu w tle: rada jest taka, abyście usiedli w rzędach po drugiej stronie od kierowcy :)

Timanfaya Visitors Center

Another place that I recommend visiting before Timanfaya NP is the Timanfaya tourist center. The entrance to the museum is free, inside there is plenty of information about volcanoes not only those from Lanzarote but general knowledge, and in its underground simulation of volcanic eruption.

And finally, I recommend to go to the Timanfaya National Park after 15.00 then you have a 20% discount, and there are less tourists. The on-site El diablo restaurant, another great Manrique project. At this point, magma is still boiling at a depth of 3-5 km, which means that several meters below ground we have temperatures reaching 600 degrees Celsius, and just below the surface even 100 - 200 degrees. Around the restaurant there are shows to prove it, roasted chicken on a grill above the hole in the ground, self-igniting twigs and pouring water into the holes that returns in the form of a geyser. Next you take the bus and the 45-minute ride between volcanoes begins with the history of the explosion in the background: the advice is that you sit in the rows on the other side from the driver :)

PODSUMOWANIE:

Na początku byłam rozczarowana, że teren Parku jest niedozwolony do zwiedzania, a zdjęcia z IG wprowadzają w błąd. Jeśli widzicie te piękne zdjęcia wulkanów z drona, to sa zdjęcia promocyjne wyspy, wykonane na zlecenie. Dronem latać nie można, jedynie nad Playa Blanca.
Dopiero po wycieczkach zdałam sobie sprawe dlaczego tak jest:

dla naszego bezpieczeństwa- pole lawowe może być niebezpieczne ze względu na to, że występują tunele które mogą się zapaść
na Lanzarote panuje trudny klimat, wiatr, słońce, brak opadów dlatego okres wegetacji roślin jest długi i wymagajacy, a każda ingerencja spowalniałaby go.
zbyt mały obszar na taka ilość turystów
miło jest popatrzeć na krajobraz w który nie ingerował człowiek co niestety jest rzadkoscią w obecnych czasach.

SUMMARY:

At first I was disappointed that the Park area is not allowed to explore, and the photos from IG are not allowed to take by a tourist . If you see these beautiful photos of volcanoes from the drone, these are promotional photos of the island, made to order. You cannot fly the drone, only over Playa Blanca. It wasn't until the trips that I realized why this is so:

for our safety - a lava field can be dangerous due to the fact that there are tunnels that can collapse.
Lanzarote has a difficult climate, wind, sun, therefore the vegetation period is long and demanding, and any interference would slow it down.
too small area for such a number of tourists.
it is nice to look at the landscape in which man did not interfere, which, unfortunately, is rare in the present time.
